Alec Hewitt

Hi, I’m Alec, I love building things and learning new technologies.

Right now, I work as a Software Engineer at Solar Analytics, a platform to help people understand and monitor solar panels on their roof. My role includes architecting the technology stack, implementing algorithms to analyse energy data and occasionally being let loose to do some front end work. Prior to joining Solar Analytics I worked at Immerse Learning, a company designing virtual reality educational experiences.

In my spare time I enjoy building React apps and writing machine learning models. When I’m not programming you are likely to find me training with my local cycling club or trying to build an electric motorbike.
